Winter was for preparing.
Spring was for planting the seeds.
Summer was for growth.
And now autumn is here; it’s time to harvest.

I prepared all winter, I planted the seeds all spring, and
summer hit me over and over again with so many breakthroughs, realizations, ideas, and lightbulb moments- it’s felt like the sun didn’t stop shining, even when it rained.
Autumn sinks us into darkness little by little day by day. I love the overall nostalgic feeling of the fall, and the reaping of everything we’ve sowed. Harvest season is integration season – all the growth slows and we pull inward to let it sink in. There’s a patience required to really surrender to this part of the process of evolution that has never really come naturally to me – visible, outward productivity and hustle is the only model I’ve known – but I’ve trusted the process/the universe/myself/nature’s cyclical template for growth this far… I think I’ll keep riding her wave 🌊🍂🤍🌾
Have you felt this in your own journey?
If you don’t, but you want to, I’d encourage you to start by enjoying a rich season of gratitude and reflection. What are you harvesting this season? How has it served you, and what about it hasn’t?
Sit with gratitude a minute for all of it, and all that it has taught you, and will continue to teach you.
Happy fall, y’all. 🍂🤍🙏🏻
