THIS IS ME
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 NIV)
Of all the things in all creation – think about that. From every single cell organism or ameba, to every genus and category of plant, every species and sub species of animal – every single thing EVER…
And I don’t care what you think or believe about whichever theory of creation you want – any and all of those beliefs say the earth is OLD.
That’s A LOT of created things, guys.
So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27 NLT)
And you, friends, WE ARE THE ONLY THINGS IN ALL CREATION MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.
Let that sink in.

That’s you.
Yeah, sin came in and distorted the image. No, it’s not perfect. But it never stripped us completely of our image bearing. There are godly characteristics remaining in all of us, and JESUS. GUYS, JESUS. Because of Jesus we have an opportunity, a chance at perfection.
In our redemption and salvation, we enter into the journey of being made more and more like Him.
That’s where we are.
Loved and treasured by our creator God, this beautiful God that chose us and set us apart making us in His own BEAUTIFUL image. And even when we’re dirty or messy or put down or cast out or feeling like we don’t belong or can’t stand ourselves – guys, He says YOU. ARE. MINE. I CREATED YOU IN MY IMAGE TO PROVE IT. IVE BEEN FAITHFUL TO YOU TO BRING YOU OUT OF THE DISTORTION YOU CHOSE AND SET YOU ON A REDEEMING ROSD TOWARDS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION.
AMEN?
So, when we feel defeated, we can say, NO I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR IN CHRIST (Romans 8:37)
When we feel unloved, we can say, I AM LOVED BY THE GOD MOST HIGH (Isaiah 43:4)
When we feel unappreciated, we can say HE REJOICES OVER ME WITH LITERAL DANCING AND SINGING (Zephaniah 3:17)
When we feel lost, we can say, HE HAS A PLAN FOR ME AND DETERMINES MY STEPS (Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 16:9)
When we don’t feel good enough, we can say HIS POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN MY WEAKNESS, HE GAVE ME POWER OVER THE DARKNESS (2 Corinthians 12:9, Luke 10:19)
When our hurt is overwhelming, we can say WEAPONS CAN FORM BUT NOT PROSPER (Isaiah 54:17)
When we feel useless and counted out, we can say I AM CHOSEN, JUSTIFIED, AND PREDESTINED FROM THE MOMENT HE STOOD BEFORE CREATION (Romans 8:30)
Amen, amen, amen, amen…
