I’m en route to retreat to finish my Holy Yoga training, guys.
I am and have been consumed with excitement and nervousness and all the feels that go along with those. But I find myself operating from a well of peace within my heart, and I can only believe that it is because He has placed my feet upon the Rock that He is.
Because for me, I mean.. I’m traveling alone, flying for the first time in about 10 years to a place I’ve never been, to spend a week with a bunch of people I’ve never met, to ultimately get reviewed for my yoga teacher certification.
On my own, I’d be – I am – a nervous wreck! And yet, here I sit, calmly in my seat, not consumed by anxiety, but overflowing with the trust that I know I can place in my Jesus to bring me to and carry me through, faithfully like only He can.
From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:2 ASV)
Thank you, Jesus, for stillness of heart and soul, and for the love and care with which you have surrounded me.
